The Explorer II classroom focuses on preparing students for Pre-School. This classroom works with each student to refine letter and number recollection, as well as, introduce handwriting skills such as tracing and cutting. Explorer II children are given responsibilities with teacher-directed instruction, promoting students to become more independent. Children mature and gain school readiness skills. The preparation children receive in the Explorer II classroom helps to build upon the skills needed for Pre-School.
