The experienced teachers at Dublin Learning Academy promote your child’s growing independence and social skills as they begin to create relationships with their peers. Language, Social Sciences, Hygiene, Letter Recognition, and Expanding Vocabulary are central themes in our daily activities. Explorers participate in rhythmic activities to help develop body dexterity and hands-on art projects to stimulate creativity. Through an age-appropriate curriculum designed around their needs and interests, Dublin Learning Academy is able to assist Explorers as they meet personal learning targets in fun and educational ways.
In Dublin Learning Academy’s Explorer Program, your toddler will continue building upon what they learned in the Lil’ Dreamers and Dreamer Programs. We work closely with our Explorers to be sure each child is achieving goals at Dublin Learning Academy.

In our Dublin, OH childcare for 1.5 to 2-year-olds, your child is encouraged to explore and discover new ways of learning. Explorers focus on expanding their vocabulary, talking in short sentences, recognizing the alphabet by sight, counting to 20, and recognizing basic shapes, colors, and different types of weather. Teachers use hands-on activities to make learning fun. We use weekly themes to keep learning exciting while introducing new concepts to your toddler.
Explorer Program teachers encourage children with behavior charts and plenty of praise! Children are rewarded when they use gentle hands, share, practice good manners, clean up, and listen. Redirection is used when inappropriate behavior is used. If it is continuously displayed, the child is asked to take a break so they have time to think about and correct their behavior.
Explorers eat individually packed lunches from home. Snacks are provided by Dublin Learning Academy, though students are welcome to bring individual snacks. Dublin Learning Academy also provides milk for Explorers at lunch and snack times. A microwave and refrigerator are located in the classroom for food storage convenience. Early arrivals may bring breakfast to eat at school. Please note that due to the health risks of students with severe allergies, Dublin Learning Academy has a school-wide peanut-free policy.
Each day after lunch, our Explorers settle in for nap time on their assigned cots. Bedding is provided by the parent and is sent home on the last school day of the week for cleaning.
At our Dublin, OH childcare for 1.5 to 2-year-olds, your child begins to actively potty train. Teachers work with each family to determine when your child is ready to potty train. Students will need to keep extra clothes at school for accidents.
